Half of the audience for Bravo’s RHONJ stuck around for new series Dancing Queens, according to just-released ratings.
Episode 14 of RHONJ earned a 0.20 in the P18-49 demo and 821,000 live viewers in the ratings on Wednesday night, according to Nielsen. This is down slightly from last week’s episode (0.21 / 831,000) and even with the season low in the demo (Episode 11 – 0.20 / 765,000).

Meanwhile, new series Dancing Queens — or Ballroom Dancing Queens as it is known in some international markets — scored a 0.06 in the P18-49 demo and 378,000 live viewers, which is nothing to write home about.

For comparison’s sake, this is lower than other recent Bravo premieres like Southern Hospitality (0.10 / 338,000), The Queens of R&B (0.17 / 490,000), and this past Sunday night’s Summer House Martha’s Vineyard debut (0.11 / 396,000).
All of those series earned a higher share of the P18-49 demographic, which is the most important metric to advertisers.
The new series, which follows the lives of six women and their hobby of professional ballroom dancing, is more comparable to Real Girlfriends In Paris (0.06 / 255,000) and Love Without Borders (0.04 / 186,000), at least in the demo. While most shows grow quite a bit once DVR is taken into account, live ratings are still important and there’s no real indication this series in particular will grow at a higher speed than any of the network’s other recent offerings.
If social media is any indication, however, most Bravo viewers seem to be giving this new series a chance so it will be interesting to watch where the ratings fall from here on out.
Season 13 of RHONJ stars Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Margaret Josephs, Jennifer Aydin, Danielle Cabral, Rachel Fuda, Jennifer Fessler, Jackie Goldschneider, and Dolores Catania while the first season of Dancing Queens features Colette Marotto, Donie Burch, Gaëlle Benchetrit, Leonie Biggs, Pooja Mehta, and Sabrina Strasser.
RHONJ airs Wednesdays at 8|7c on Bravo leading into new series Dancing Queens at 9|8c.
