Ratings: Bravo’s ‘RHOSLC’, ‘Southern Charm’ Averaging 2 Million Viewers Across All Platforms

RHOSLC ratings, Real Housewives of Salt Lake City ratings, Southern Charm ratings, Peacock ratings, Bravo TV ratings

Bravo’s RHOSLC and Southern Charm are doing more than okay in the ratings despite low live numbers with the network just revealing the shows are averaging almost 2 million viewers across all platforms.

According to live-plus-seven-day numbers obtained from NBCUniversal via The Wrap, RHOSLC is also on track to hit a series ratings high and is currently averaging 1.9 million total viewers and 1.1 million demo viewers among adults 18-49 across all platforms.

“In terms of demo viewers, the fourth season has added 195,000 viewers — up 20% from last season’s multi-platform seven-day viewing,” reads the report. “The new installment also added 225,000 total viewers so far, a 13% increase from Season 3.”

While it may seem hard to believe, Bravo also claims that RHOSLC is the “second most-watched Bravo original in terms of demo and total viewers” only behind this year’s explosive 10th season of Vanderpump Rules. The network is also claiming that this season’s RHOSLC has become the “most-watched season premiere of a Bravo series on Peacock among both the 18-49 demo and among total viewers.”

Southern Charm ratings

RHOSLC isn’t the only Bravo show seeing massive increases once DVR and streaming are taken into account, however. Southern Charm, which follows a group of friends in Charleston, South Carolina, is also on track to deliver its most-watched season since Season 6 back in 2019.

According to the report, the new season of Southern Charm is currently averaging 2 million total viewers and 972,000 demo viewers and is up up 14% in total viewers and up 22% in demo viewers across all platforms through seven days of viewing.

Due to that success, Southern Charm Season 9 “ranks within the streamer’s top 10 most-watched season of a series that first aired on Bravo, in terms of both 18-49 demo viewers and total viewers.”

Low live ratings for Bravo’s RHOSLC

NBCUniversal’s ratings release comes after both shows recently logged low live viewership.

For example, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City earned a dismal 0.11 in the P18-49 demo and just 414,000 live viewers on October 11 while Southern Charm scored a 0.16 and 514,000 live viewers after hitting a season low just the week before.

While RHOSLC seems to be having a well-received season with fans, there is no denying that the live ratings for Season 4 are down when compared to the Jen Shah-helmed Season 3 but while it is clear the shows are not the must-see water cooler programs they may once have been for Bravo, viewers are still interested and their viewing behaviour may just be evolving.

New episodes of RHOSLC air Tuesdays on Bravo while Southern Charm drops new episodes every Thursday. Both shows are available to stream on Peacock the next day.
