Bravo’s RHOSLC Season 4 premiere delivered big ratings for Peacock, according to just-released numbers.

The September 5 premiere is the “most-watched Bravo-first episode across the entire Real Housewives in the 18-49 entertainment demographic,” according to an NBCUniversal release via Deadline. The network is also calling the episode the “most-watched Bravo-first premiere ever for Peacock in both total viewers and in the entertainment demo in the three-day window.”

As previously reported, the RHOSLC season 4 premiere earned a 0.15 in the P18-49 demo and just 431,000 live viewers when it aired last week.

The live ratings seemed to shock most Real Housewives fans, with viewers noticing a big drop from the Season 3 premiere (0.26 / 685,000) but according to this latest Bravo release, RHOSLC has actually seen an increase in the numbers since Jen Shah’s departure—and incarceration.

The news of RHOSLC’s success on Peacock comes at an interesting time, however, as the chatter around the show’s ratings was quickly gaining traction.

According to a TV Deets analysis, RHOSLC season 3 averaged a 0.22 demo and 618,000 live viewers so even though the live viewership has dropped so low, Bravo is already claiming that season 4 is out-performing season 3.

“Across all platforms, the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 4 premiere was up 8% in the 18-49 demo and 1% in total viewers compared to the first episode of Season 3,” reads the report from Deadline.

Low live Bravo ratings

Interestingly enough, NBC refers to the RHOSLC premiere as the most-watched “Bravo-first” premiere meaning we can assume these numbers exclude Peacock originals like Below Deck Down Under and The Real Housewives of Miami, both of which were moved to Bravo for their latest seasons.

Bravo ratings are under a microscope as of late amid reports the network is looking to reboot The Real Housewives of Atlanta with an all-new cast after doing so with The Real Housewives of New York City.

While the network now likes to tout DVR ratings, the reality is that shows like RHONY Season 14 are bombing in the live ratings and there is no real way to verify the numbers being put out by NBCUniversal. Making things more interesting is the fact that the network only seems to put out press releases for certain shows and skips other series and their respective DVR and streaming viewers entirely.

For example, Bravo did not release the Peacock viewing numbers for The Real Housewives of Atlanta when Season 15 premiered a few months ago.

While Bravo may have tapped out on a potential audience size for The Real Housewives franchise overall, it is becoming clear that more and more of their core fanbase are choosing to watch the shows in a different format.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City stars Monica Garcia, Meredith Cobsy, Heather Gay, Lisa Barlow, Whitney Rose, and Angie Katsanevas, with Mary Cosby appearing as a Friend of the Housewives and airs Tuesdays at 9|8c on Bravo.
