Ariana Madix is reportedly refusing to film Vanderpump Rules season 11 with Tom Sandoval.
Sources close to the show tell TMZ that Ariana and Tom “haven’t shot a one-on-one scene together since filming started for the next season,” with Ariana allegedly “refusing” to do so despite the series beginning production back in late June.
According to insiders, the prospects of Ariana filming with Tom for season 11 “don’t look good” because she “just not interested” in talking to her former boyfriend. TMZ reveals that filming on the new season is set to wrap in September, with producers wanting this one-on-one scene to be filmed before the cast wraps.
The fact that Ariana is “refusing” to film with Tom is interesting considering executive producer Alex Baskin seems to have other plans for the couple, recently telling The Hollywood Reporter he doesn’t believe there is a way for them to co-exist on the series without filming together.
“We always deal with pushback if different parties don’t want to shoot with each other because of strained relations,” he told the trade outlet. “Obviously, this is more extreme. But Ariana and Tom Sandoval, I would hasten to point out, they still live together. The idea that they wouldn’t shoot together is a little bit hard to digest. They’re in the same home.”
Alex Baskin’s comments come after Ariana Madix told The New York Times that she would not film with Tom Sandoval.
As previously reported on TVDeets.com, Raquel Leviss has not been spotted filming season 11, either, with TMZ pointing out that no Raquel and no Ariana/Tom scenes could mean the end of Scandoval is nearly here.
When asked about Raquel Leviss returning for season 11, Baskin seems confident that the other part of Scandoval would be back. “Those are ongoing conversations. I imagine there will be an update fairly soon,” he said. “But, for now, we’re still in dialogue with her.”
Vanderpump Rules will return to Bravo sometime in 2024.
