Robyn Dixon has become the second Real Housewife to confirm she will not be returning to RHOP for Season 9, joining Candiace Dillard Bassett in opening up about parting ways with the Bravo franchise.
“Yes, I will not be returning for season 9 of The Real Housewives of Potomac. It’s reality. The network did not invite me back. I was fired, for lack of better words. I will not sugar-coat the situation the situation and say, ‘Ooh I am walking away and this is a break’ or anything like this. This is a network decision,” she said on the April 15 episode of the Reasonably Shady podcast, as reported by PEOPLE. “I’m okay with it because nothing lasts forever. I’ve had a very long run on the show, and I just really appreciate that time and the opportunity that I had on the show… Thank you to the fans who have watched us from day 1. I do want to especially thank all of the fans and viewers who have supported me, showed loved to me. Whether you directly sent me love or you prayed for me or you have positive thoughts around me, I appreciate you. And I hope I inspired you the viewers, the fans, to live your life authentically. To not feel pressure to change for anyone, or impress people, and just to be yourself.”
Robyn Dixon is the second Real Housewives of Potomac cast member to confirm they are parting ways with the show, with Candiace Dillard Bassett confirming her exit just a few weeks ago.
“As I embark on a new chapter after six remarkable years with The Real Housewives of Potomac, I am filled with gratitude for the enriching friendships, personal growth and moments of introspection that have defined this journey,” Candiace told PEOPLE about her exit ahead of RHOP Season 9. “With a whirlwind of new opportunities and responsibilities on my plate, I have decided to take a break from RHOP. This is not a farewell, but a ‘see you later.'”

With Robyn Dixon and Candiace Dillard Bassett out, that leaves Karen Huger, Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Mia Thornton, Wendy Osefo, and Nneka Ihim with champagne flutes but fans will not be put to ease until we hear more from the women or Bravo puts out an official cast release about RHOP Season 9.
With that said, TV Deets can confirm that additional cast changes are coming ahead of RHOP Season 9 in addition to Robyn and Candiace’s exits — with a few of them having already been made weeks ago.
