An executive producer on Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules is dishing on Season 11 in a new interview, confirming exes Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval are still living together while filming the show.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter about the upcoming season, Alex Baskin revealed that despite Ariana’s public comments that she would not film Season 11 with Tom, he finds that hard to believe as they are still in the same house together.
“We always deal with pushback if different parties don’t want to shoot with each other because of strained relations,” he told the trade outlet. “Obviously, this is more extreme. But Ariana and Tom Sandoval, I would hasten to point out, they still live together. The idea that they wouldn’t shoot together is a little bit hard to digest. They’re in the same home.”
When asked about Raquel Leviss returning for Season 11, Baskin seems confident that the other part of Scandoval would be back. “Those are ongoing conversations. I imagine there will be an update fairly soon,” he said. “But, for now, we’re still in dialogue with her.”
In recent weeks, rumours of a new Vanderpump Rules spinoff starring Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright, and Kristen Doute have surfaced and Baskin again seems confident we will see the past cast members in one way or another. “Look, the past cast members are still a part of the group. It isn’t like they went away,” he explained. “So, we’re really excited to develop out what that will mean. There are other opportunities to see the extended friend group beyond just Vanderpump Rules.”
As previously reported, Ariana had mentioned in an interview with The New York Times that she would not be filming with Tom or Raquel for Season 11 so Baskin’s comments are definitely interesting, to say the least.
In the interview, Baskin confirmed that Vanderpump Rules Season 11 is now filming with Bravo aiming for a 2024 premiere. In addition to Ariana and Tom, the season will star Katie Maloney, James Kennedy, Lala Kent, Scheana Shay, Tom Schwartz, and Ally Lewber.
