Clare Crawley may regret quitting The Bachelorette, with sources revealing she feels that “leaving the show was the biggest mistake of her life,” according to new reports.
The Bachelorette star hasn’t exactly been well-received by fans of the ABC franchise, especially after she left with contestant Dale Moss just weeks into filming the new season, and insiders are now opening up about how she feels in the weeks since the drama has played out.
“Clare wanted Tayshia [her replacement on the show] to be more helpful as she transitioned out of the show,” sources tell OK! Magazine of Clare’s state-of-mind.
“It isn’t clear exactly what Clare wanted Tayshia to do, but whatever it is, she didn’t do it,” the insider continued. “This feels like the classic case of getting fired from a job and hoping that your replacement fails.”
As for Tashia Adams, she isn’t paying too much attention to how Clare is feeling amid all of the chaos. “Tayshia likes Clare but she doesn’t owe her anything. Simply put, Clare left, Tayshia didn’t push her out, or conspire to steal her job. This was Clare’s decision.”
The source continues, “As far as Tayshia is concerned, this is now her show not Clare’s. She isn’t going to waste her time thinking about who was the Bachelorette before her, she is too busy trying to find love. Clare is starting to think leaving the show was the biggest mistake of her life.”
And she may have good reason to think leaving the show was a big mistake.
As previously reported, the drama hasn’t exactly died down since Clare and Dale shocked fans of the ABC reality show by getting engaged and leaving the show mid-production.
Insiders say Clare Crawley regrets quitting The Bachelorette, just weeks after her fiancé Dale Moss was allegedly spotted with another woman.
Just a few weeks ago, sources allegedly caught Dale in New York City with another women, implying that all may not be right in their relationship.
Dale was in SoHo with “three women” on Saturday (November 14) insiders told the same magazine.
“He went to an event at Hugo Boss and was seen leaving with three model types,” a source dished at the time, adding that the reality star was intoxicated at the time. “He was later joined by a fourth who seemed to be his friend. Then, he was spotted drinking outside in SoHo, where he was kissing one woman, but like pecks.”
However, Dale and Clare have since interacted with each other on social media, helping to put at least some of the rumours about their relationship to rest.
The Bachelorette airs Tuesdays on ABC.
