Luke Valentine Claims ‘Big Brother 25’ Made The “Wrong Decision” By Removing Him From The House

Luke Valentine is claiming Big Brother season 25 made the “wrong decision” by removing him from the house after he used a racial slur.

The disgruntled houseguest made the suggestion in a new Instagram Live video posted just yesterday (August 16). “I’m not upset at the production. Their hands were tied. They had to make a sacrifice. I understand why,” he shared. “It is upsetting. I think they made the wrong decision. I think a slap on the wrist would have been a much better thing.”

According to Entertainment Weekly, Luke dished on what happened after Big Brother producers heard him use the N-word in a conversation. “They just wrapped me up and threw me in a room for seven hours. I spoke to HR and then they shipped me back home and it was genuinely… it was devastating,” he said. “It was very upsetting. It was very sad. And that’s why it’s just… what do I say after that?”

During the Instagram Live, Luke addressed claims that he isn’t showing any personal growth considering his inappropriate response to the Big Brother incident. “I care pretty deeply. It was very upsetting. It was shocking news. I slept like a baby that night. I had beautiful dreams of being on the show. And then I woke up and they hit me with it,” he explained. “And it’s funny because they called me into the Diary Room, which they hadn’t done for a while and I said, ‘It’s so weird. It’s like getting called to the principal’s office, I feel like I’m in trouble.’ And little did I know I was in the most trouble possible.”

As previously reported on TVDeets.com, Luke Valentine was removed from the Big Brother season 25 house for using the N-word back on August 9.

“Luke violated the BIG BROTHER code of conduct and there is zero tolerance in the house for using a racial slur,” producers said in a statement. “He has been removed from the house. His departure will be addressed in Thursday night’s show.”

The incident occurred during a conversation Luke Valentine was having with fellow housemates Jared Fields, Cory Wurtenberger, and Hisam Goueli. Valentine casually dropped the slur at the end of a statement before seemingly catching himself, covering his mouth, and laughing.

Big Brother airs Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays on CBS.
