Former Love & Hip Hop star Masika Kalysha is suing her former co-star Hazel-E and the Zeus Network for $6 million over a 2020 fight that was filmed as part of the network’s The Conversation series.
According to TMZ, Masika didn’t find the incident to be a laughing matter and has filed suit against her nemesis Hazel-E, claiming that she was physically attacked after their sit-down went left. The two had gotten together to film an episode of The Conversation to hash out their issues stemming from appearing on Love & Hip Hop and rumours Hazel was allegedly spreading about Masika.
The former reality star reveals in court papers she filed by herself that Hazel and a cosmetologist affiliated with the show physically attacked her in her dressing room following the taping. Masika alleges that security from the Zeus Network did break up the fight but that she was inappropriately touched during the chaos.
The gossip outlet reports that Masika is suing for sexual battery, fraud and wants $6 million USD in damages. At the time, her attorney requested the incident not be aired but Zeus went ahead anyways, so Masika is now asking for all of the footage to be pulled.
Masika Kalysha first appeared on Season 1 of Love & Hip Hop Hollywood before becoming a main cast member in Season 3, where she feuded with Hazel-E. LHHH is currently on hiatus alongside LHHNY, with LHHATL and LHHMIA currently airing Mondays on VH1.
