Tinsley Mortimer, Bravo “Tentatively” In Talks For ‘RHONY Legacy’ Series

Tinsley Mortimer is reportedly being considered for the upcoming RHONY Legacy series, according to new reports.

Insiders close to the show tell Page Six that while it initially seemed like the former High Society and Real Housewives of New York City star was uninterested in the reboot, her reps are now singing a somewhat different tune, signalling she could be in talks to join the spinoff.

According to the gossip outlet, sources close to Tinsley originally claimed that she was happy living a peaceful life in Palm Beach, Florida without cameras but that has since changed as she is “tentatively” in talks with Bravo to return.

“Tinsley is happy right now leading a private life, but when the right opportunity comes to be back on TV, it will be considered,” her representatives tells Page Six, which the outlet took as evidence that Tinsley is in discussions with Bravo to join RHONY Legacy.

Apparently, this is PR talk for “when the right number of zeros appear on Bravo’s offer, the contract will be considered.”

RHONY being split into two shows

As previously reported, Bravo is splitting RHONY into two shows: Season 14, which is set to feature an all-new cast and Legacy, which will feature a mixture of current and former Real Housewives of New York.

The RHONY reboot cast was unveiled at BravoCon with Sai De Silva, Ubah Hassan, Erin Dana Lichy, Jessel Taank, Jenna Lyons and Brynn Whitfield set as full-time Housewives. Socialite Lizzy Savetsky was also set to be a part of Season 14 until she left the show amid a reported N-word controversy involving her husband and her would-be co-star Brynn.

Meanwhile, Bravo is moving ahead with casting for RHONY Legacy. Ramona Singer has confirmed that she will not be a part of the spinoff, while LuAnn de Lesseps, Dorinda Medley, Sonja Morgan, Kelly Bensimon, and Jill Zarin are reportedly a lock. LuAnn and Sonja will also star in their own RHONY spinoff series debuting on Bravo early next year.

If Bravo is considering bringing back Tinsley Mortimer for RHONY Legacy, it totally makes sense. Not only did she fulfill the “socialite” role the network was looking for but over the course of her four seasons she became intertwined with the rest of the women before she quit the show in search of love. Unfortunately for Tins, we all know how that worked out.

Season 14 of The Real Housewives of New York City will return to Bravo early next year while RHONY Legacy will reportedly premiere in late 2023.
