OWN has set a January 21 premiere date for Season 2 of Love & Marriage: DC, confirming the additions of Ready To Love’s Joi Carter and Clifton Pettie in a new release.
In addition to Joi and Clifton, the network has confirmed that Season 2 of LAMDC will star returning cast members Jamie and Erana Tyler, Ashley Silva and her husband DJ Quicksilva, as well as friend of the cast Winter Williams following Monique Samuels’ unexpected departure.

Joi

Love & Marriage: Huntsville reunion
In addition to setting a premiere date for Season 2 of Love & Marriage: DC, or LAMDC for short, OWN also announced a three-part reunion for Love & Marriage: Huntsville starting January 14 followed by a one-hour recap special for DC.

Joi and Clifton, who appeared on the Potomac-based Season 5 of the OWN reality dating series Ready To Love, have been busy filming with the LAMDC cast over the last few weeks, TV Deets previously confirmed. (theJasmineBrand was first to report news of Joi and Clifton’s casting.)
In addition to Joi and Clifton, sources tell TV Deets exclusively that Alfred and Sherrell Duncan have also filmed for Season 2, although they were not given official roles with today’s Season 2 announcement. Joi is being introduced through Erana, whereas viewers will meet Sherrell through Ashley if she does make it into the final edit, insiders confirm.
LAMDC originally featured Monique Samuels in her first role since leaving The Real Housewives of Potomac. A spinoff of Love & Marriage: Hunstville, Season 1 documented Chris and Monique’s re-entry into the social scene and introduced us to their friends and acquaintances but the series is set for a whole new era in 2023.
