Monique Samuels Files For Divorce From Chris Samuels After 10 Years Of Marriage

Monique Samuels has filed for divorce from Chris Samuels after 10 years of marriage, according to PEOPLE.

The Montgomery County Family Court confirmed the news with the magazine earlier today (June 20), revealing that she filed a complaint for absolute divorce back on April 15. On Thursday, June 15, the longtime reality star filed an amended complaint for absolute divorce which is what seems to have tipped off the media.

According to the report, Monique and Chris Samuels have yet to finalize their divorce but a hearing is scheduled in the case for tomorrow, Wednesday, June 21. The former couple, who wed in 2012, share three children together: sons Christopher and Chase, and daughter Milani.

After appearing on Seasons 2-5 of The Real Housewives of Potomac, Monique exited the series before joining the OWN network with the launch of Season 1 of Love & Marriage DC. TV Deets was the first outlet to tell you about the existence of LAMDC — and Monique’s involvement.

If you’re a longtime reader of TV Deets, you may not be totally shocked by the news of Chris and Monique’s divorce filing. Not only did her former RHOP co-star Ashley Darby spill the beans at BravoCon back in October that the duo were separating but sources confirmed with TV Deets at the time that the LAMDC star was done with her marriage.

As previously reported, Monique has also announced her exit from Love & Marriage DC and did not return as part of the Season 2 cast earlier this year.
