Kandi Burruss is opening up about filming Season 15 of RHOA, teasing that all of the other Housewives are coming for her.
Taking to her Amazon Live shopping show, Kandi dished on the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta that is just a few weeks into filming and it sounds like it has already been a bumpy ride for the longtime reality star.
“I’m in this weird place in my life where I’m battling everybody,” she said. “Like, when I tell you I have been in so many arguments in the past, since the summer. Since we were filming the Xscape show all the way now, filming Housewives… I feel like I have argued with everybody.”
She continued, “Like, almost had some really crazy blowouts with some people. This has been a very crazy time and so I really enjoy coming on Amazon Live… In my other life, it’s been some craziness happening.”
“RHOA, of course, I be feeling like everyone is coming for me constantly lately and this time I’m just not taking it laying down,” she explained. “Yes, I have been having to read some people left and right. It’s been going down.”

Kandi And The Gang cancelled
In the same Amazon Live, Kandi revealed that her RHOA spinoff Kandi And The Gang would not be returning for Season 2.
“Unfortunately, it is not returning,” she told viewers on the November 17th live. “Bravo is not bringing it back. It’s so sad and I’m super upset about it… I’m going to move on now, because I don’t even want to get sad right now.”
While Kandi did not reveal a reason for Bravo deciding to cancel Kandi And The Gang after just one season, it could be argued that the RHOA spinoff suffered from lacklustre ratings right from the beginning.
The series premiere earned a 0.12 in the P18-49 demo, with just 491,000 viewers tuning in to watch Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker rehabilitate their OLG (Old Lady Gang) restaurant back in March 2022. For comparison’s sake, this was much lower than Porsha Williams spinoff Porsha’s Family Matters, which earned a 0.22 in the demo and 869,000 viewers when it premiered back in November 2021.
While the series did end up seeing some increases in the live ratings over Season 1 and the network does take into account delayed and DVR viewing stats, the numbers were not anything to write home about so it does make sense that Bravo executives could have expected more and therefore, decided against ordering a Season 2.
RHOA Season 15: Who’s in, and who’s out?
In the meantime, Kandi is busy filming Season 15 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. While Bravo has kept details on the new season tight-lipped, Marlo Hampton, Kenya Moore, Drew Sidora, Sanya Richards-Ross, and Shereé Whitfield are all returning alongside Kandi. (She is also set to appear on an upcoming spinoff featuring an Xscape and SWV reunion.)
Last season, Kandi spent most of her time arguing with Marlo Hampton so it will be interesting to see who else is coming for the veteran this time around.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta will return in 2023.
