Both RHOP: Karen’s Grande Dame Reunion and Kandi & The Gang bounced back in the reality TV ratings on Sunday night, according to just-released numbers.

Part 2 of Karen Huger’s RHOP spinoff, cleverly titled Karen’s Grande Dame Reunion, increased to a decent 0.10 in the P18-49 demo and 390,000 viewers, according to Nielsen. This is up a tick from part 1, which earned a 0.09 and 393,000 viewers back on April 17.

Meanwhile, Kandi & The Gang also saw an increase, bouncing back to a 0.13 in the demo and 472,000 viewers, the series’ largest audience since the April 10th episode (0.12/503,000). The boost in the ratings comes after last week’s episode logged a season low in the demo (0.08/414,000). (Kandi & The Gang in particular has been up against tough competition including the Oscars and Grammys.)

Seeing both shows increase in the ratings is exactly what Bravo executives would have been looking for. While the network seems happy with both shows by all accounts, live ratings are still very important to advertisers so the fact that Kandi’s show has bounced back after a season low and Karen’s held steady in the demo is great news.

The two spinoffs are the latest in a new plan at NBCUniversal, which has seen the Real Housewives franchise expand for the first time in recent years, with The Real Housewives of Miami and Ultimate Girls Trip airing on Peacock and these spinoffs taking over Sunday nights on Bravo. While some fans have criticized the spinoffs for deviating too much from the Real Housewives format, these spinoffs are NBC’s way of keeping the brand on the air year round so in our opinion, the more, the better.

Kandi And The Gang airs Sundays on Bravo. Sunday night’s episode of Karen’s Grande Dame Reunion serves as the de-facto season finale as only two episodes were ordered for the special.
