New Real Housewives of New York City cast member and fashion maven Jenna Lyons believes RHONY fans are ready for the upcoming reboot.
Speaking to W Magazine with the rest of her co-stars to promote Season 1 of the RHONY reboot, Lyons told the magazine that the women are ready to bring something new to the table. “The narrative does need to change,” she explained. “We all signed up to do this, not to repeat what’s been done, but to actually see if we could do it and still have fun. It doesn’t mean we won’t have moments, but I think we’re all looking for something different.”
The W Magazine profile did not go into things further so it is unclear what has been filmed so far and what fans can expect from the all-new cast but Lyons brings quite the resume with her as a fashion designer, former president of J. Crew, and the star of her own HBO Max unscripted series Stylish With Jenna Lyons.

Interestingly enough, Lizzy Savetsky, who was initially announced as part of the cast but has since backed out, is featured in the photos and profile due to the shoot being set up before she exited the series. Read all about Lizzy’s exit here.
As previously reported, Bravo is splitting RHONY into two shows, rebooting the franchise. One series, tentatively called RHONY Legacy, is set to feature a mix of current and former Real Housewives of New York while Season 14 stars new Housewives Sai De Silva, Ubah Hassan, Erin Dana Lichy, Jessel Taank, Jenna Lyons and Brynn Whitfield is being referred to as the “reboot.”
The RHONY reboot is currently filming and set to premiere sometime in 2023 while the Legacy cast is still being finalized.
