Ramona Singer has confirmed that she is exiting the RHONY franchise after 13 seasons and will not appear on the upcoming Legacy spinoff.
Earlier this week, Page Six revealed that Ramona had not been asked to return for RHONY Legacy and that Bravo is in talks with LuAnn de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, Kelly Bensimon, Jill Zarin, and Dorinda Medley about joining the new spinoff.
“I do not want to do the show any longer,” she told the gossip outlet late Friday (November 11). “It’s not for me at this time.”
Despite Ramona insisting it was her decision, Page Six went on to echo their initial report which specified that the longtime reality star was in fact not invited to take part, despite recently attending BravoCon alongside LuAnn and Sonja.
“But sources tell us that Bravo didn’t offer the longest-serving member of the cast an opportunity to return for their revamped line-up,” reads the report.
RHONY Legacy cast revealed!
Sources tell Page Six exclusively that Bravo is in talks with RHONY Season 13 cast members Luann de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, as well as former Housewives Jill Zarin, Dorinda Medley, and Kelly Bensimon.
“Sources say that contracts haven’t been signed but talks are underway with all the potential stars,” an insider told the outlet earlier this week.
According to Page Six, Bravo is looking to add two more additional cast members into the mix but the gossip outlet does not yet know who those women are.
If this latest report is to be believed, that leaves Season 13 cast members Eboni K. Williams, Leah McSweeny, and Ramona Singer without spots on either of the two new shows. (Leah, for her part, is set to star on the upcoming third season of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.)
Two RHONY shows
As previously reported, Bravo is splitting The Real Housewives of New York City into two shows: Legacy, which will feature former cast members and Season 14, which stars an all-new cast.
According to Bravo, the rebooted version of RHONY is set to feature former J. Crew president and creative director Jenna Lyons, influencer and content creator Sai De Silva, model and philanthropist Ubah Hassan, matchmaker and influencer Lizzy Savetsky, brand consultant and fashion publicist Jessel Taank, and marketing communications consultant Brynn Whitfield.
Season 14 of The Real Housewives of New York City will debut in 2023 after starting filming last month, while Legacy is rumoured to be slated for the second half of the year.
