Chris and Monique Samuels have finalized their divorce, TV Deets has confirmed.
The former Real Housewives of Potomac and Love & Marriage DC stars are officially dunzo after the Montgomery County Family Court clerk revealed their divorce was finalized at a hearing earlier this month.
People Magazine was first to report news of the finalization and Team TV Deets has since confirmed the details with Potomac-area insiders.
According to the report, “documents for the divorce have been sealed, but a judge signed off on the judgement after the pair’s final hearing earlier this month.”
As previously reported on TVDeets.com, news of Chris and Monique’s separation first surfaced a year ago before The Real Housewives of Potomac alum took to YouTube to deny they were going their separate ways. The longtime reality star then filed for divorce in June.
According to reports at the time, Monique filed a complaint for absolute divorce back on April 15. On Thursday, June 15, the longtime reality star filed an amended complaint for absolute divorce which is what seems to have tipped off the media. The former couple, who wed in 2012, share three children together: sons Christopher and Chase, and daughter Milani.

After appearing on Seasons 2-5 of The Real Housewives of Potomac, Monique exited the series before joining the OWN network with the launch of Season 1 of Love & Marriage DC. TV Deets was the first outlet to tell you about the existence of LAMDC — and Monique’s involvement.
If you’re a longtime reader of TV Deets, you may not be totally shocked by the news of Chris and Monique’s divorce filing. Not only did her former RHOP co-star Ashley Darby spill the beans at BravoCon back in October that the duo were separating but sources confirmed with TV Deets at the time that the LAMDC star was done with her marriage.
As previously reported, Monique has also announced her exit from Love & Marriage DC and did not return as part of the Season 2 cast earlier this year.
