‘Selling Sunset’ Season 5: Netflix Series Returns April 22 With New Agent Chelsea Lazkani

Netflix has confirmed an April 2022 premiere date for Selling Sunset Season 5, while revealing an exciting new cast member at the same time.

Selling Sunset Season 5 will officially drop on Netflix on Friday, April 22, the streaming service confirmed via a PEOPLE exclusive earlier this morning (March 22).

Jason and Brett Oppenheim, Chrishell Stause, Christine Quinn, Mary Fitzgerald, Romain Bonnet, Heather Rae Young, Amanda Smith, Maya Vander, Davina Potratz, and Season 4 newbies Emma Hernan and Vanessa Villela are all returning for Season 5.

Who is Chelsea Lazkani?

According to PEOPLE, Chelsea Lazkani was quite accomplished in her field before coming to the Oppenheim Group and eventually joining Selling Sunset. She worked in the corporate world up until 2017, later obtaining her real estate license. She ended up originally joining LA-based Rodeo Realty, which the write-up points out will be familiar to Million Dollar Listing viewers as the former employer of Josh Flagg.

A graduate of the University of Birmingham and the University of Dundee in Scotland, Chelsea is also mrried to Jeff Lazkani and is the mother of two children, she has returned to the real estate industry and is now a full-fledged member of the West Hollywood real estate agency.

Lazkani was accomplished in her field prior to joining the Oppenheim Group. After exiting the corporate world in 2017, she obtained her real estate license and joined Los Angeles agency Rodeo Realty (the former employer of Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles star Josh Flagg). 



After venturing out on her own and taking time to raise her two children with husband Jeff Lazkani, she realized she was ready to return to the real estate game.

Chelsea, a graduate of the University of Birmingham and the University of Dundee in Scotland, is now taking her talents to the West Hollywood-based realty group.

“I think having the support of my husband and my family really essentially prepared me to take on this big role and this big opportunity,” the new agent told PEOPLE exclusively about joining the Netflix series. “But for me personally, I saw this as an opportunity to really open doors in an industry that has lacked diversity and where minorities are underrated.”



Teasing the new season, Chelsea promises that “it’s really electric” and “nothing you’ve ever seen before on TV.”

More Selling Sunset on the way

Viewers can expect more Selling Sunset on the way. As previously reported by TV Deets, Selling Tampa debuted its first season just a few months ago while Selling The OC is currently filming its first season in Orange County, California.

Netflix will drop Season 5 of Selling Sunset in its entirety on Friday, April 22.
