Netflix has ordered the first reunion special ever for Selling Sunset Season 5, according to reports.
E! News reveals that the first-ever Selling Sunset Season 5 reunion will tape on Sunday, April 24th, just two days after Season 5 drops on Netflix (April 22). Tan France, one of the stars of Queer Eye, is set to host and the special will debut on the streaming service on Friday, May 6.
The move is interesting, considering Bravo is attributed to creating the first reunion (thanks NeNe Leakes!) and that it comes so far into the show’s history, with Season 5 debuting on the streaming service today (April 22). That said, this is sure to please fans who have wanted Chrishell Stause and Christine Quinn to face off since day one.
The cast will surely have lots to discuss, as the Season 5 trailer teased lots of drama to come. Mary Fitzgerald is in as the office manager, Season 4 newbie Emma Hernan is back, and Christine has finally been given a friend in new agent Chelsea Lazkani. Plus, we’re sure there’s lots of drama to cover that the trailer didn’t show us.
Selling Sunset was created by Adam DiVello, the creator of MTV’s The Hills and Laguna Beach. Those shows never went the official reunion route, however MTV Canada did host a set of after show specials to discuss the drama amongst that cast.
Selling Sunset Season 5 is now streaming on Netflix.
