Prosecutors are seeking a 10-year prison sentence for RHOSLC star Jen Shah, according to new reports.

TMZ has obtained court documents that are shedding some light into the fraud case, revealing that prosecutors believe the reality star is the “most culpable person charged in this case,” despite her denials.

According to the documents, prosecutors say Shah attempted to “conceal her role in the scheme,” but in reality was extremely involved in their day-to-day operations.

She was reportedly upset with the amount of money that was coming in around June 2018, with TMZ reporting she texted her coworkers “‘I’m coming in to set appts for these guys tomorrow. Please get my 24 karat gold headset with diamond encrusted mouthpiece ready. Papi needs money for the weekend and [a co-conspirator] needs baby mama money.'”

Additionally, prosecutors aren’t happy with Jen’s decision to sell “Justice for Jen merchandise” pointing out that she went on a “public offensive against the charges.” Yikes.

As previously reported, Jen Shah is facing up to 14 in years in prison for her involvement in a fraudulent telemarketing scheme with the RHOSLC star pleading guilty to charges.

According to NBC News ConnecticutShah snuck into court back in July 2022 and plead guilty to the charges ahead of her looming trial, which was supposed to start on July 18, 2022. In addition to facing up to 14 years in prison, reports state that the reality star will also face millions of dollars in possible fines and restitution.

Since pleading guilty, Jen’s sentencing has been pushed to 2023 with a judge recently approving the delay.

According to documents obtained by Page Six, an attorney for The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City standout made the request in court and it was approved. On Wednesday (November 23), Priya Chaudhry, who is Shah’s attorney, filed the request and it was approved shortly after by Judge Sidney H. Stein. Her sentencing is now set for January 6, 2023, at 2:30 p.m. ET., according to the gossip outlet.

Recently, Jen skipped out on the RHOSLC Season 3 reunion after taking to social media to complain about not being invited in the first place. This followed Andy Cohen’s comments at BravoCon back in October that seemed to imply Bravo was done with Jen after she plead guilty following filming on the show’s third season.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City airs Wednesdays on Bravo.
