Kroy Biermann is “moving forward” with his divorce from former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak.

TMZ interviewed Kim earlier this week (August 28) at Los Angeles International Airport and despite her seemingly positive attitude about the situation, Kroy’s legal team tells the outlet he has no plans to call off the divorce for a second time.

“Well, we asked Kroy’s legal team if he had any plans on pulling the divorce … and they didn’t mince words. Kroy’s attorney, Marlys A. Bergstrom, tells us, ‘No, at this time, he is still moving forward with the divorce action,'” reads a report from the gossip outlet.

“It’s likely a devastating blow to Kim, and unless Kroy’s holding back information from his lawyer,” continues the report, adding, “the estranged couple is definitely not on the same page about their future.”

As previously reported on TVDeets.com, Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann have been “fighting nonstop” since he filed for divorce from the RHOA star for the second time this year.

“Kim and Kroy had been arguing for several weeks about money before Thursday’s filing and things had gotten ‘nasty,'” reported TMZ. “As for specifics, we’re told each has been on the other’s case about not paying various bills. They blame each other for their serious financial mess. As one source said, ‘They’ve gotten ridiculously petty over who hasn’t paid bills. They’re counting down to pennies.'”

Insiders tell the gossip outlet that Kroy had been threatening Kim Zolciak with divorce on the regular and after daring him to do it during an argument in recent weeks, he actually went through with the filing. He is asking for sole legal and physical of their 4 minor children as well as child support, alimony and attorney’s fees.

Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann both filed for divorce just months ago amid news they owe over $1 million in unpaid taxes. Their divorce has since gotten extremely messy with Kroy accusing Kim of punching him in the head, as well as allegations of drug abuse.

“Short lived” reconciliation

Friends close to the couple, for their part, called that the reconciliation would be “short lived” just weeks before Kroy filed for divorce for the second time.

“They are still living together, but every day is an uphill battle,” a source told Us Weekly about the former Real Housewives of Atlanta stars. “Those close to them think the reconciliation will be short-lived.”

“There’s simply too much bad blood and hatred toward each other,” the source explained, adding, “There’s a lot of s–t-talking, and it’s hard to see how this will be resolved amicably. They are also not seeking counseling.”

While we’re hopeful the two remain amicable, a growing chorus of Bravo fans believe the duo may be using their marriage issues to get back on the show, with Kroy even mentioning in legal papers that he was worried Kim may use the divorce for attention.

“Based on previous experience, [Kroy] is concerned that [Kim] will use the television show to garner attention by discussing the divorce and exposing the children to behavior that would be great for TV ratings, but not for the mental health and wellbeing of the children,” reads the motion filed by Kroy’s legal team, according to a Radar Online report from early June.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays on Bravo.
