Jason Oppenheim believes Selling Sunset Season 6 will be just fine without Christine Quinn, he confirms in a new interview.
Speaking to TMZ, Jason becomes the second Selling Sunset cast member to discuss Christine leaving the show ahead of Season 6 after Emma Hernan spoke to the outlet on Wednesday (August 17).
“I don’t get involved,” he told a TMZ photo when approached about Christine’s exit, adding that he believes Season 6 and Season 7 will hold no shortage of drama. “I already believe they’re becoming the best [seasons].”
When asked who will fill the villain role after Christine’s departure, “There are a lot of strong personalities, including two new women. I don’t want to use the word ‘villain’ but I think there’s going to be interesting dynamics there.”
“I think that there’s going to be enough [drama],” he said, somewhat unsure.
Jason Oppenheim Believes Selling Sunset Will Be Successful Without Christine Quinn
As previously reported, Christine Quinn is leaving Selling Sunset ahead of Season 6. On Wednesday, nemesis Emma Hernan became the first cast member to address her exit, also telling TMZ she believes the series has nothing to worry about.
“I think the show does very, very well… We have a lot of amazing people,” she told the outlet.
As previously reported, the entire cast of Selling Sunset received contracts for Seasons 6 and 7, sources told TV Deets EXCLUSIVELY back in March. Receiving a contract doesn’t mean that talent will return, however, and it looks like that is true in this case.
Expected to return for Season 6 are Chrishell Stause, Mary Fitzgerald, Heather Rae El Moussa, Emma Hernan, Vanessa Villela, Amanza Smith, Davina Potratz, and newcomer Chelsea Lazkani.
Seasons 1-5 of Selling Sunset are now streaming on Netflix and Season 6 will premiere in early 2023.
