Another day, another report about Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann’s relationship and according to a new set of family insiders, their alleged reconciliation will be “short-lived.”

“They are still living together, but every day is an uphill battle,” a source tells Us Weekly about the former Real Housewives of Atlanta stars. “Those close to them think the reconciliation will be short-lived.”

Despite Kim reportedly dismissing her initial divorce filing, those close to the couple think there is still trouble ahead. “There’s simply too much bad blood and hatred toward each other,” the source explained, adding, “There’s a lot of s–t-talking, and it’s hard to see how this will be resolved amicably. They are also not seeking counseling.”

As previously reported, Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann have been through the ringer since news broke back in May that they had filed for divorce amid sky-high amounts still owed to the IRS.

The two have traded sordid allegations against each other, with Kim alleging Kroy has mental health and cognitive issues stemming from his time in the NHL, and Kroy calling police on Kim and her friend Elise Humphries, alleging the two were involved in an attempt to kidnap their son, KJ. (The couple were married for over 11 years and had 4 children together during that time, with Kroy also legally adopting Kim’s children from previous relationships, Brielle and Ariana.)

The parties have also requested each other be tested for drugs and alcohol and there were even reports that Kim had punched Kroy in the head amid one heated argument. In short, things have been chaotic for the former RHOA stars for months.

Body camera footage upsets couple

Despite the two recently calling off their messy divorce, things are still not copacetic as TMZ also now reporting that the duo are “fighting again” after the release of police body camera footage. According to the insider, the two are upset with what they heard each other say in the footage.

“Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ … Kim and Kroy are fighting again, and this time it’s over the newly released footage from their interactions with police during their nasty divorce, which they’ve since called off,” reads the report. “Specifically, we’re told Kim and Kroy are upset about what each said about the other to the cops.”

As TMZ points out, Kroy told police in the body cam footage that Kim has an out-of-control gambling problem while Kim voiced concerns Kroy may be suffering from a traumatic brain injury. The footage that has the duo allegedly upset is from May, when police responded to their Georgia residence for a domestic dispute amid their ongoing divorce.

According to the gossip outlet’s insider, the footage being released could have a detrimental effect on any reunion and Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann may split once again. “With the police body cam footage opening some wounds, people close to them say it wouldn’t come as a shock if Kim and Kroy broke up again soon,” says the report, explaining, “although this time our sources don’t believe Kim and Kroy would rush to file for divorce a second time.”

While we’re hopeful the two remain amicable, a growing chorus of Bravo fans believe the duo may be using their marriage issues to get back on the show, with Kroy even mentioning in legal papers that he was worried Kim may use the divorce for attention.

“Based on previous experience, [Kroy] is concerned that [Kim] will use the television show to garner attention by discussing the divorce and exposing the children to behavior that would be great for TV ratings, but not for the mental health and wellbeing of the children,” reads the motion filed by Kroy’s legal team, according to a Radar Online report from early June.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays on Bravo.
