Jassi Rideaux is joining RHOP Season 9, sources tell TV Deets EXCLUSIVELY.
I first revealed this news on Instagram last week but thought I’d take to the blog to share some more details about the newest cast member to join Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Potomac.
As previously reported on TVDeets.com, Ashley Darby, Gizelle Bryant, Mia Thornton, Karen Huger, and Wendy Osefo are all returning as full-time Housewives with filming starting at the end of April. Additionally, Stacey Rusch is joining RHOP Season 9 as a full-time Housewife while Keairna Stewart will return as an official Friend of the Housewives.
Who is Jassi Rideaux?
Originally from Oklahoma, Jassi (short for Jasmine)—also known as “Jassi International” or “Jassi the Beauty”—is a self-proclaimed, highly successful entrepreneur and a former pageant queen. She is the CEO of Chateau Rideaux Inc. and Rideaux Hair which provides high-quality, raw extensions and aims to forge her own space in the competitive beauty industry.
“Chateau Rideaux it was birth when my grandmother who’s a self-made millionaire painted the name on our family home. Chateau Rideaux is actually French chateau means house and Rideaux is the French spelling of my last name,” she previously told Where It Begins. “The journey of Chateau Rideaux began in Asia and ended in India. It took me about 6 or 7 years to birth Chateau Rideaux, but I’ve always been involved with hair in one way or another. I am a licensed cosmetologist and have been since I was 17.”
According to my rock-solid sources, Jassi Rideaux has been filming RHOP Season 9 for the last few weeks and has already ruffled a few feathers. While her role is up in the air (more on that, later), I hear that she will be introduced to the group via returning Housewife Mia Thornton.
Interestingly enough, Jassi is rumoured to be dating Darius Harris, an NFL linebacker signed with the Kansas City Chiefs, the Superbowl-winning team led by Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, so Jassi’s casting could be quite the “get” for Potomac.
