The RHOP cast is heading to the Dominican Republic for the final Season 8 trip, sources confirm with TV Deets EXCLUSIVELY.

According to our insiders, Mia Thornton, Candiace Dillard Bassett, Ashley Darby, Karen Huger, Gizelle Bryant, Robyn Dixon, and Wendy Osefo are leaving tomorrow (Tuesday, June 13) for the Dominican Republic and will be there for the next week.

New Housewife Nneka Ihim is also joining the cast for the final trip of RHOP Season 8.

As regular readers of TV Deets are aware, we were the first to tell you that production on RHOP Season 8 officially started on April 11, the first to report Nneka’s casting, and we also revealed that the first cast trip of Season 8 was to Texas. Meet new Housewife Nneka Ihim

As previously reported, Nneka Ihim is joining the cast of RHOP Season 8 as a full-time Housewife and will be on the Dominican Republic trip.

Born in Boston but a Nigerian at heart, Nneka is a licensed attorney specializing in financial technology and has quite the entrepreneurial spirit as the owner of her own champagne line, our insiders confirm.

She is a graduate of both the University of Michigan and University of Wisconsin Law School and is the daughter of well-known interventional cardiologist and philanthropist Leo Egbujiobi.

Outside of her work as an attorney, she also briefly worked as a correspondent for CNN. Nneka lives in Potomac proper and is married to Dr. Ikenna Ihim, a medical doctor and night lounge investor. She will be introduced to the women via Ashley Darby and made her first appearance at Ashley’s housewarming party, our sources confirm.

While Charrisse Jackson Jordan was present at Ashley’s housewarming, she is not expected to return as an official cast member. Jacqueline Blake — who was introduced as a friend of Mia’s last season — is out and will not be returning in an official capacity, either.

The Real Housewives of Potomac is currently in production on Season 8 and is expected to return to Bravo later this year.
