Stacey Rusch is joining RHOP Season 9 as a full-time Housewife, multiple sources tell TV Deets EXCLUSIVELY.
As previously reported on TVDeets.com, Ashley Darby, Gizelle Bryant, Mia Thornton, Karen Huger, and Wendy Osefo are all returning as full-time Housewives with filming starting next week.
Keiarna Stewart, who was also initially thought to be left out of the new season, is also returning for Season 9, sources confirmed with TV Deets earlier this week.
Who is Stacey Rusch?
Stacey Rusch is joining RHOP Season 9 as a full-time Housewife… but who is she?
According to my rock-solid sources, Stacey may be well-known to some Potomac viewers already as the longtime host of her own dedicated hour on QVC. In addition to her work on QVC, Stacey has appeared as a reporter and host on FOX5’s Morning News and Good Day DC, and as an anchor and reporter on ABC7’s Good Morning Washington.
Before entering the world of TV, Stacey was known as a health and wellness expert, practicing yoga in over 35 countries and while teaching for such high-profile agencies as the White House Athletic Center, American University, and NASA, according to her official website.
In local circles, Stacey is known as a bit of a D.C. socialite, sitting on the boards of many charities and helping to raise money for different causes. One of the foundations she has worked with, Felicias’s Fund, is where she met current Housewife Karen Huger, who will reportedly be introducing her to the rest of the group.
Not only does she boast quite the bustling career but she is married to Thiemo Rusch, a senior vice president with Audi. Together, they share a young daughter named Arabella.
Interestingly enough, no one seems to have caught on to some subtle hints Stacey has shared on her social media pages. In her latest post from April 15, she talks about resigning from QVC to focus on “being a Mom.”
In another post from April 6—when she was already in negotiations with Bravo—she captioned it “Birthday happiness!” while in a very Potomac-looking setting. The caption also boasted the cherry blossom emoji, consistently tied to The Real Housewives of Potomac by Bravo and its viewers.
With Stacey in the mix—and other newbies on the way!—RHOP is certainly on its way to a whole new era.
TV Deets is THE source for all things Potomac — In addition to being first to reveal Nneka’s casting, I was also first to expose the destination for the cast trip, first to introduce you to Keiarna, first to reveal the friends of the show were brawling, and now, first to share the RHOP Season 9 cast— so be sure to keep it locked on TVDeets.com and my social for all of the latest deets.
The Real Housewives of Potomac will return with Season 9 later this year.
