Craig Conover Teases ‘Southern Charm’ Season 7: “A Little Wild And Crazy And Different”

Three new cast members are joining the Bravo series.

When Bravo’s Southern Charm returns with Season 7 tonight, fans are in store for a quite a few changes to the Charleston, South Carolina-set series.

Four full-time cast members—Cameran Eubanks, Naomie Olindo, Chelsea Meissner, and Eliza Limehouse—have all departed after Season 6, paving the way for newbies Madison LeCroy, Leva Bonaparte, and John Pringle.

Ahead of the new season, veteran cast member Craig Conover opened up about what it was like to continue to work during the initial stages coronavirus pandemic and teased the changes that have been made to Southern Charm Season 7.

“It was interesting to be part of an industry that has never really slowed or shut down production whether it’s scripted, unscripted, all different facets of productions all came to a standstill,” he told Page Six exclusively.

Madison LeCroy, John Pringle, and Leva Bonaparte are new full-time cast members on Bravo’s Southern Charm, returning for Season 7 tonight.

“And I have some friends that are in the scripted world and they were like, ‘What are you guys doing?’ And I was like, ‘What are you guys doing?’ And, you know, no one knew what was going to happen,” he continued. “So that was interesting, that kind of everyone [was] on the same playing field.”

When it comes to Season 7, Craig promises that viewers will be entertained while yes, getting used to an entirely new cast. “I think it is exciting in a way that, you know, it’s still Southern Charm how you guys know it, but it’s something new and different again, which I feel like every year somehow with our group of friends, just there’s something a little wild and crazy and different.”

In addition to Craig Conover, Southern Charm Season 7 premieres on Bravo tonight at 9/8c and stars Shep Rose, Austen Kroll, Kathryn Dennis, Madison LeCroy, Leva Bonaparte, and John Pringle.
