Christine Quinn is leaving Netflix’s Selling Sunset behind. According to TMZ, the longtime reality star is departing the series ahead of Season 6, which just started filming last week.

“Production sources tell TMZ Christine will not be featured in seasons 6 and 7 of the Netflix show, which recently began production,” reads the report. “We’re told it was a mutual decision between Christine, Netflix and the production company.”

TMZ points out that Christine has recently signed with IMG Models and is heavily involved with her and husband Christian’s real estate company, RealOpen, and that may be why she is parting way with the show after five seasons.

As previously reported, the entire cast of Selling Sunset received contracts for Seasons 6 and 7, sources told TV Deets EXCLUSIVELY back in March. Receiving a contract doesn’t mean that talent will return, however, and it looks like that is true in this case.

Selling Sunset Season 6 cast

With Christine Quinn leaving, that means fans are surely in for a change when Selling Sunset Season 6 premieres on the streaming service next year. Expected to return for Season 6 are Chrishell Stause, Mary Fitzgerald, Heather Rae El Moussa, Emma Hernan, Vanessa Villela, Amanza Smith, Davina Potratz, and newcomer Chelsea Lazkani.

The series follows Jason and Brett Oppenheim and their team of real estate agents at the Oppenheim Group in Los Angeles, California, and is one of Netflix’s most successful reality shows to date. The series has spawned two spinoffs including Selling Tampa and the yet-to-premiere Selling The OC.

Seasons 1-5 of Selling Sunset are now streaming on Netflix and Season 6 will premiere in early 2023.
