VH1 has set a premiere date for Love & Hip Hop Miami season 5, releasing an explosive trailer at the same time.
According to a write up from Yahoo, Amara La Negra, Safaree, Trina, Trick Daddy, Ray J and Princess, Sukihana, Bobby Lytes, Florence El Luche, Zoey Brinxx, Shay Johnson, Gunplay, Eliza Reign, Miami Tip, Joy Young & Vonshae, Supa Cindy & the Hollywood Twins and more are set to star in the new season when it premieres Monday, August 14 on VH1.

“According to a press statement, season five of LHH: Miami declares reinvention as the name of the game. After a year of life-altering upheavals, the series’ cast including industry veterans as well as hard-hustling up-and-comers are back outside, mixing it up, and turning the page. In addition to the Love & Hip Hop Miami season 5 premiere, VH1 started airing a three-part special on July 24. According to Yahoo, the trailer is supposed to be the first of a “new era” for the series.
As previously reported on TVDeets.com, sister series Love & Hip Hop Atlanta was moved to MTV and given a refresh for its latest season, separating the franchise for the first time.
