Ratings: ‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’ Season 11 Steady With Move To MTV

Love & Hip Hop Atlanta Season 11 was steady in the ratings in its move to MTV for Season 11, according to just-released stats.

Episode 1 of the LHHATL reboot earned a strong 0.22 share in the all-important P18-49 demo and 506,000 live viewers, according to Nielsen.

This is about even with the last episode of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta to air which was Part 2 of the Season 10 reunion on VH1 back in November 2021 (0.21 / 529,000).

This is down, however, from both the Season 10A premiere in July 2021 (0.41 / 950,000) and the Season 10B premiere in August 2022 (0.32 / 756,000).

LHHATL moves to MTV for Season 11

As previously reported, the long-running reality series has moved to MTV with Season 11, which is being a considered a reboot by parent company Paramount.

The company, which oversees both VH1 and MTV as well as streaming service Paramount+, has decided to make some programming changes and is moving LHHATL as well as other shows like Couples Retreat and Caught In The Act: Unfaithful to MTV. The shows are all from Lashan Browning’s Antoinette Media which Paramount recently invested in, reported Deadline.

According to the report, the shows will air on Tuesday nights and form a new Tuesday Night Takeover. Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, which originally premiered on VH1 in 2009 and is returning for Season 11, is being rebooted and retooled with a more “docu approach to storytelling.”

“On the heels of launching Antoinette Media with Lashan Browning, we’re thrilled to continue fueling our robust unscripted slate of hits on MTV and introduce new audiences to the cultural phenomenon Love & Hip Hop Atlanta as well as fan favorites like Couples Retreat and Caught in the Act: Unfaithful,” said Nina L. Diaz, Chief Creative Officer and President of Content, Showtime and MTV Entertainment Studios, according to Deadline’s report.

Love & Hip Hop Atlanta airs Tuesdays at 8|7c on MTV and stars Amy Luciani, Bambi, Erica Banks, Erica Mena, Jessica White, Karlie Redd, Kendra Robinson, Khaotic, Kirk Frost, Mendeecees, Momma Dee, Rasheeda Frost, Renni Rucci, Safaree Samuels, Scrappy, Shekinah Jo, Sierra Gates, Spice, Yandy Smith-Harris, and Yung Joc.
