VH1 has renewed RuPaul’s Drag Race for Season 15, according to a new report.

Deadline reveals that not only has VH1 renewed the mainstay show RuPaul’s Drag Race for a new season but that accompanying after show RuPaul’s Drag Race: Untucked will also return. According to the trade outlet, the upcoming fifteenth season will include the series’ 200th episode.

“When I hear season 15 of RuPaul’s Drag Race, I have to pinch myself. I just won’t tell you where,” RuPaul said in an official statement. “We never take for granted the opportunity we’ve been given to showcase drag excellence and tell authentic queer stories. Thank you to the fans, World of Wonder, VH1, our cast and crew, and most of all, our brave and beautiful queens.”

As the outlet reports, Drag Race Season 14 wrapped earlier this summer with Willow Pill being crowned the winner and was a ratings success, with the premiere marking the show’s highest-rated debut since 2018. Following the end of that season, fans tuned into Paramount+ for Season 7 of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, where Jinx Monsoon was awarded the top prize. Season 7 of All Stars also appears to be a hit, with Paramount+ recently teasing that the premiere was the “most-watched original reality series” on the streaming service.

To celebrate the renewal news, original network Logo is airing a “marathon viewing event” for Season 14 starting tonight at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 15 will premiere on VH1 next year.
