Despite photos and video of the cast filming having already leaked, VH1 has officially renewed Basketball Wives for Season 11, revealing the cast at the same time.
According to The Wrap, fan favourites Jennifer Williams, Jackie Christie and Brooke Bailey are returning for Basketball Wives Season 11, with internet personality Brittany Renner joining the cast.
Former cast member Evelyn Lozada is returning for Season 11 and executive producer Shaunie Henderson will make a guest appearance according to the report, while newcomers Renner, Jac’Eil Duckworth, Vanessa Rider and Clayanna Warthen are also in the mix for the VH1 hit.
A description for Season 11 reads: “Tensions run high as the veterans take the newbies under their wings – but will they throw them a lifeline or shade? With the fate of the sisterhood hanging in the balance, the new ladies are out to prove that they’re not to be underestimated. Get ready to be on the edge of your seat as friendships are tested, tea is spilled, and lines are crossed on the 11th season of Basketball Wives.”
While the network has yet to officially confirm anything, they are also reportedly in production on Season 1 of an Orlando-based spinoff starring Mehgan James set for a 2024 debut.
Basketball Wives is produced by Truly Original and Shed Media, which includes Henderson, Steven Weinstock, Glenda Hersh, Lauren Eskelin, Julie “Bob” Lombardi, Ronica Wynder, Jamail Shelton and Katie Sole. Tiffany Lea Williams, Angela Aguilera and Mimi Blanchard from VH1 serve as executive producers.
Season 11 will premiere sometime this fall, according to the report.
