Ubah Hassan revealed in a recent interview that Bravo has not yet offered the RHONY reboot cast another season, despite reports the show and cast is locked in for Season 15.
“We don’t know yet [if we’re coming back],” the model told Variety. “That would be amazing. [I love] Bravo, the team, the people we work with. The crew, when we stopped filming, I missed those people. I was like, ‘Wait a second like, that’s it?’ It’s a good community. It’s a very, very good community and we’re really appreciative and grateful for them to give us, you know, the opportunity. It’s all in their hands, what they want to do, right? And we’re going to BravoCon.”
Ubah Hassan’s revelation that Bravo has not yet offered the RHONY reboot cast another season comes amid unconfirmed reports Season 15 is already a lock.
Just last week, sources told gossip site Bravo and Cocktails that the entire RHONY season 14 cast would be returning with production on season 15 allegedly set to start in the spring. Despite that report, it seems Bravo has not made any official decisions on another season — at least as of Ubah’s sit-down with Variety.
In addition to Ubah Hassan, the RHONY reboot stars Sai De Silva, Jenna Lyons, Brynn Whitfield, Jessel Taank and Erin Dana Lichy. Although the show received a ton of hype when it was first announced, reactions to the reboot have been mixed among fans with live ratings for the series down quite a bit when compared to season 13.
Jenna Lyons hints at possible RHONY exit
Jenna Lyons, for her part, recently hinted that she could be exiting RHONY after just one season.
In an interview with Evan Ross Katz on the ‘Shut Up Evan’ podcast, the reality newbie opened up about her time as a Real Housewife and seemed to hint at a possible exit from The Real Housewives of New York City reboot after just one season.
Jenna Lyons doesn't want #RHONY to become her "defining moment”:

“I don’t want it to become my defining moment, and it’s tricky, because I had a career prior to this — a relatively large one — and I don’t want this to become my calling card,” she said on the ‘Shut Up Evan’… pic.twitter.com/ZO1YEmUYXZ
“I don’t want it to become my defining moment, and it’s tricky, because I had a career prior to this — a relatively large one — and I don’t want this to become my calling card,” she said, according to a write up from Heavy. “At the same time, I’ve become well aware that this is a very large, very visible and very passionate show. I actually can’t believe how obsessed people are.”
In addition to Jenna possibly exiting the reboot after season 14, fan reaction has been mixed at best to the rest of the cast—especially Erin and Sai—so if Bravo is in fact looking to make changes ahead of another season, it would not be shocking to see one or more cast members leave.
Season 15 casting rumours
The casting company behind RHONY also posted about casting for new women in recent days so it is clear that fans should expect changes to the series yet again.
While there is no indication which way the network is going with casting, LuAnn De Lesseps and Sonja Morgan have been mentioned quite a few times in reports after their spinoff Welcome To Crappie Lake earned solid reviews earlier this summer. Season 13 cast member and Ultimate Girls Trip alum Leah McSweeney was also rumoured to be making a comeback in recent weeks and Ramona Singer was featured on a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live. Plus, both the RHONY reboot cast and the RHUGT: RHONY Legacy cast (Kelly Bensimon, Kristen Taekman, Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, Dorinda Medley, LuAnn De Lesseps) are appearing at BravoCon 2023, so anything seems possible.
The Real Housewives of New York City season 14 airs Sundays on Bravo.
