LuAnn De Lesseps wants to film Season 2 of her RHONY spinoff show Crappie Lake with Sonja Morgan, she reveals in a new interview.

Speaking to OK! Magazine about the success of the Bravo series and her cabaret, LuAnn revealed that she hopes to film Crappie Lake Season 2 with Sonja but this time, in a new city.

“It’s a dream job to be able to do what I love, and then to be able to help this town and work with the mayor to leave long-lasting things behind,” she explained of venturing to Benton, Illinois with her RHONY co-star. “There were so many things we accomplished that we’re very proud of. When we arrived we didn’t know these people from Adam, and we just fell in love with them.”

She continued, “They’re just wonderful. People from a small town with a lot of heart. I hope we can continue doing this with small towns everywhere.”

As previously reported on TVDeets.com, LuAnn De Lesseps and Sonja Morgan starred in Season 1 of LuAnn and Sonja: Welcome To Crappie Lake, which wrapped airing back in July.

The spinoff sees the two Real Housewives of New York City stars travel to Benton with the goal of helping the small town à la The Simple Life with Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie.

Live ratings for the RHONY spinoff were actually quite decent, with the show premiering to a 0.10 in the P18-49 demo and 505,000 viewers and averaging a 0.08 and 373,000 live viewers so it is possible Bravo could order more episodes or another season.

Until news of the spinoff’s renewal is announced, LuAnn and Sonja will next be seen in The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy which is expected to debut on Peacock this December.

LuAnn and Sonja: Welcome To Crappie Lake is now available to stream in its entirety on Peacock.
