It’s the first season without longtime cast member LeeAnne Locken.
The Real Housewives of Dallas is back for Season 5 and earlier today, Bravo released the trailer for the new season and introduced new cast members Tiffany Moon and Jennifer Davis Long for the first time.
In addition to Tiffany and Jennifer, back for the new season are Brandi Redmond and Stephanie Hollman, D’Andra Simmons, Kameron Westcott, and Kary Brittingham. As RHOD fans are well aware, this is the first season without LeeAnne Locken after she confirmed she would not be returning to the series after Season 4.
As you can see, the only new photos are of the two new cast members, so we can most likely expect them to simply be added into the show’s existing intro and images moving forward.

LeeAnne exits RHOD
As previously reported, longtime cast member LeeAnne Locken announced her exit after dramatic end to Season 4 that saw her co-stars accuse her of being racist.
“The last four years have been a trolley-slapping good time but after much consideration, I have made the personal decision to step away from RHOD,” she said in a statement at the time.
LeeAnne Locken was notably missing from the recently-released Real Housewives of Dallas trailer.
“Getting to share my wedding with the viewers last year brought me tremendous joy, however, the season was very personally challenging for me,” she continued. “I am looking forward to stepping away from the cameras and spending quality time with my husband and friends, traveling, but most importantly, getting back to philanthropy, which was my main reason for joining the show.”
“Thank you to everyone who has laughed and cried with me along the way,” she concluded. “It’s been an amazing journey, and yes my pantyliner is still exhausted. There are so many exciting things on my horizon that I can’t wait to share with you.”
RHOD Season 5 premieres Tuesday, January 5 at 9/8c on Bravo.
