LeeAnne Locken Announces She’s Leaving ‘The Real Housewives Of Dallas’ After 4 Seasons
LeeAnne confirmed in an statement to People that she wouldn’t be returning to RHOD for the new season.
According to internet rumours, Bravo ordered a new season of the show just this week, hence her announcement. The other women, including Stephanie Hollman, Brandi Redmond, Kary Brittingham, and Kameron Westcott, are rumored to be returning, and Kary and Stephanie even teased so on Instagram.
“The last four years have been a trolley-slapping good time but after much consideration, I have made the personal decision to step away from RHOD,” she said, according to Bravo’s The Daily Dish.
“Getting to share my wedding with the viewers last year brought me tremendous joy, however, the season was very personally challenging for me,” continued LeeAnne. “I am looking forward to stepping away from the cameras and spending quality time with my husband and friends, traveling, but most importantly, getting back to philanthropy, which was my main reason for joining the show.”
“Thank you to everyone who has laughed and cried with me along the way,” she concluded. “It’s been an amazing journey, and yes my pantyliner is still exhausted. There are so many exciting things on my horizon that I can’t wait to share with you.”
LeeAnne’s departure follows a few other notable departures from the Bravo franchise in the last few months. It may not come as a surprise, however, as she faced allegations of racism as the show wrapped its last season and the ratings even appeared to be affected.
In addition to the RHOD star, original Housewives Lisa Vanderpump, Bethenny Frankel, Vicki Gunvalson, and Tamra Judge have all departed their respective shows in the last few months, causing concern to some fans.
The Real Housewives of Dallas is expected to return to Bravo later this year.
