The Real Housewives franchise is expanding internationally once again, with The Real Housewives of Amsterdam coming to Videoland later this year.

According to a write-up from RTL and separate announcement from the streaming service and on-demand platform, The Real Housewives of Amsterdam will star Cherry-Ann Person, Djamila Celina, Hella Huizinga, Kimmylien Nguyen, Maria Tailor, Sheila Bergeik and Susanna Klibansky and is set to premiere sometime in fall 2022.

It is the first Real Housewives franchise to be produced locally in the Netherlands.

RHOAMS Season 1 is being billed as a Videoland original production in partnership with NBCUniversal International and reality TV viewers may be familiar with the service already as it hosts local versions of popular shows like RuPaul’s Drag Race and Love Island.

That said, getting a Real Housewives franchise is pretty special for the territory.

RHOAMS is the latest international Real Housewives franchise following recent additions like The Real Housewives of Lagos, which premiered Season 1 on Africa’s Showmax earlier this year. Unlike Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Dubai, however, this series is produced locally for a Netherlands-based audience and is not expected to air in the U.S.

International fans may not have to worry, however, as international-set franchises do tend to show up in other countries at a later date, usually via streaming services like Hayu and Tubi.
