Scheana Shay is denying speculation she has forgiven Tom Sandoval amid filming on season 11 of Vanderpump Rules.
“Who said all is forgiven??” the Bravolebrity tweeted, responding to a post from popular Bravo page @queensofbravo featuring a clip of the cast hanging out together taken from her Instagram Story.
Ever since the Vanderpump Rules cast left Los Angeles to film a cast trip in Lake Tahoe, some fans have taken issue with the fact that Scheana Shay, along with Lala Kent, James Kennedy, Ally Lewber, and Tom Schwartz have been spotted hanging out as a group.
Ariana Madix is not on the cast trip and Katie Maloney also skipped the festivities, opting to hang out at SUR with Stassi Schroeder instead. Raquel Leviss, for her part, has been recently spotted in Arizona amid rumours she would be returning in time for the trip.
As previously reported, Ariana Madix denied she would film with Tom and Raquel in an interview with The New York Times but Vanderpump Rules executive producer Alex Baskin seemingly shot that down in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
“We always deal with pushback if different parties don’t want to shoot with each other because of strained relations,” he told the trade outlet. “Obviously, this is more extreme. But Ariana and Tom Sandoval, I would hasten to point out, they still live together. The idea that they wouldn’t shoot together is a little bit hard to digest. They’re in the same home.”
While some fans are questioning Scheana’s decision to film with Tom Sandoval, fans shouldn’t conflate her filming the show with forgiving Tom. This is a reality show and you should expect to see the cast members continue to interact as the weeks go on and according to a new Page Six article, that is exactly what is happening.
According to the gossip outlet’s insider, the cast decided to keep things “copacetic” with Sandoval while checking out Lisa Vanderpump’s new restaurant. “Just because the cast is in the same vicinity doesn’t mean that they are getting along,” the insider revealed. “They are there to support Lisa’s new restaurant and are honoring her request that temperatures be lowered at the moment.”
The source adds that the cast isn’t interested in making amends with Sandoval. “The cast wants nothing to do with him, but as Lisa continues to invite him to various filmed functions, they are learning to coexist with Tom, who is very much an outcast to the larger group,” the source explained. “It’s going to be a long summer.”
Vanderpump Rules will return with Season 11 sometime next year.
