Janet Roach may be feuding with the new Housewives joining RHOMelbourne Season 5, according to an Instagram comment from Janet herself.
Over the weekend, the veteran Australian Housewife took to Instagram to celebrate reaching the halfway point in production on The Real Housewives of Melbourne Season 5.
“Five weeks to go until #RealHousewivesofMelbourne,” she captioned a photo that included herself and a group of her off-camera friends.
TV Deets left a comment on the post congratulating Janet on reaching the midway point, only to receive some juicy tea about the new season in return.
“Last half of filming, have fun!” we posted, with Janet responding that “It’s no fun, we have a total fake this season. Not sure why she was cast. Disappointed xx.”
‘RHOMelbourne’ Season 5 Cast
Way back in February 2020, Arena confirmed that Janet along with Gina Liano, Lydia Schiavello, Jackie Gillies, and Gamble Breaux would be a part of Season 5, with Kyla Kirkpatrick, Cherry Dipietrantonio, and Anjali Rao joining the cast as full time Housewives.
Then, the network abruptly changed their tune in April 2021, announcing that Lydia Schiavello and Gina Liano would not be returning for Season 5 after all and revealing an updated cast.
The news has shocked and disappointed some longtime fans of the series as the two were part of some of the series’s most iconic moments, but RHOMelbourne seems to have moved on without them, announcing Simone Elliott would be replacing Gina and Lydia joining the series as a full-time Housewife.
When does RHOMelbourne Season 5 premiere?
While Arena has not announced an official premiere date for RHOMelbourne Season 5, with the series halfway through filming, viewers should expect to see it back on the air by the end of the year and if Janet’s comment is to be taken seriously, it sounds like we’re in for one dramatic season.
