Many of the highly-popular international Real Housewives shows are finally coming to the U.S. via Discovery+, the streaming service announced in a press release earlier today.
International versions of the show, including The Real Housewives of Melbourne, The Real Housewives of Johannesburg, and The Real Housewives of Cheshire are finally coming to the States after only being available in their local markets and on international streaming service Hayu.
According to a report from Deadline, Discovery+ has struck a deal with NBCUniversal Global Distribution to bring the shows to the U.S. starting from Saturday, January 15th. In addition to the Real Housewives, Flipping Out is also making its way to the streaming service.

“As we continue to expand the Discovery+ catalog with premium programming, these titles from NBCUniversal give our subscribers even more to love, truly offering something for everyone,” said Lisa Holme, Group SVP of Content and Commercial Strategy for Discovery, in a statement to Deadline. “Discovery+ is the go-to destination for unscripted content for viewers across all genres, and this partnership furthers our mission to provide the best in entertainment.”
The Real Housewives of Melbourne, The Real Housewives of Johannesburg, and The Real Housewives of Cheshire have all become hits in their local territories. Melbourne just wrapped a rebooted Season 5, while Johannesburg is working on Season 3. Cheshire just completed its 14th season and has since been spun off with The Real Housewives of Jersey.
While only RHOMelboune, RHOJ, and RHOCheshire were announced in the press release, it does sound like many other international versions could be coming to Discovery+, too. The Real Housewives of Vancouver, The Real Housewives of Toronto, and The Real Housewives of Durban are just some of the other international cities waiting to be binged.
Outside of the U.S., many of these shows are available on Hayu.
