‘RHOC’ Fans Turn On Tamra Judge After Attempted Heather Dubrow Takedown

Some RHOC fans are turning on Tamra Judge after watching weeks of her attempted Heather Dubrow takedown fall flat.

The RHOC Season 17 finale aired last night (September 27) and in it, Tamra thought she had gathered the other Housewives against Heather after revealing she allegedly called Emily Simpson and Gina Kirschenheiter “losers.” Heather, however, was playing chess and not checkers and strategically started to turn the women against Tamra, and it all started with telling Gina that it was actually Tamra who had said that about her.

The result was a somewhat shocking confrontation between Tamra and Heather, two women that were once introduced to viewers as friends. While they have had their share of ups and downs over the years, many fans have noticed that Tamra had a bone to pick with Heather all season long and her finale antics seem to be catching up to her if the posts on Twitter (X) are any indication.

RHOC finale reactions

“What did you think of the season?” Tamra asked in a post following the episode, surely not expecting some of the responses.

“Very difficult to watch the constant attacks on Heather and Jen,” responded one viewer. “It seems like everyone got together and planned how this season was going to be: a takedown on heather & vilification of Jen for her choices. That’s the storyline everyone decided on.”

Another viewer called out Tamra Judge’s ability to turn on almost anyone in her life, including her RHOC co-stars.

“Tammy Sue… I think you’re dead wrong for how you treat your so called friends,” shared another viewer. “I’m disappointed.”

Many fans seem to be pointing out that Tamra came into the season going after Heather, something Tamra has denied.

“Why would you want to come back to just be the villain of the season?” asked one viewer. “The way you treated Jen and got everyone to gang up on Heather was just disgusting.”

It wasn’t only Tamra’s responses that seemed to be calling her out; a quick look at the #RHOC hashtag on Twitter (X) shows that most viewers were disappointed in the longtime reality star’s behavior and her actions only seemed to push people to Heather Dubrow’s side.

“Tamra vs Heather in these ridiculous costumes is everything we needed for an explosive finale on #RHOC leading into the reunion,” posted one popular Real Housewives page. “Tamra has been putting work all season and here comes Cirque Du Heather turning all the troops back against Tamra in one go. JUST ARTFUL.”

“It’s Heather’s world and they’re all living it it,” summed up one viewer.

“I don’t think there has ever been a housewife with such a nasty and hateful heart,” another viewer posted. Ironically enough, Tamra claimed on the cast trip to Mexico when seeing the shaman that she wanted to rid her heart of evil.

“It was a Heather takedown season and it failed spectacularly,” one RHOC fan tweeted. “Congrats ladies, I couldn’t stand Heather last season and wanted her gone and now I’m completely on her side.”

Solid ratings and fan engagement

Love her or hate her, however, Tamra’s antics have driven an overall successful season for The Real Housewives of Orange County. Ratings are solid, fans are engaged as ever, and there seems to be ample story available with this group of women.

Hopefully, the cast remains the same for Season 18 so we can see the full fallout of Shannon Beador’s arrest and the women’s changing attitudes towards Heather.

Part 1 of The Real Housewives of Orange County airs next Wednesday, October 4 at 8|7c on Bravo.
