‘RHOBH’s Diana Jenkins Sends Cease And Desists To Bloggers Over “Hurtful Lies”

The new Housewife has faced backlash from fans all season long and still doesn't seem to understand why.

RHOBH’s Diana Jenkins says she is suing bloggers about “hurtful lies” they have written about her, sending cease and desist letters to various outlets in an ill-advised move.

Diana, who is the newest cast member on Season 12 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, took to Instagram early this morning (August 31) to reveal her plans to sue Jezebel, Gawker, Heavy, and other outlets, attaching an image of the cease and desist letters.

“For too long, irresponsible journalists, bloggers, and social media commentators have spread hurtful lies about me without consequences,” she captioned her post.

“I will no longer sit back and allow them to smear my name with impunity,” she continued. “I have instructed my lawyers to take whatever action is necessary to remove these false statements and to pursue justice from those who have been spreading lies about me.”

She added, “We launched the campaign today by sending legal letters to Enty Lawyer, Jezebel, Gawker, Heavy, and others. I will not stop until justice is served.” The RHOBH newbie captioned the post with the hashtags #Justice, #RetractTheLies, and #IrresponsibleJournalism.

Diana has faced backlash since first appearing on the show but she still doesn’t seem to understand why. In addition to her misfire of an argument with Sutton Stracke and Garcelle Beauvais, Bravo viewers haven’t taken to her personality and there are plenty of negative stories about Diana on the internet from before the show. And before you do your Google search, they’re not pretty.

Just last week, Bravo released a statement in support of Garcelle and her 14-year-old son, Jax, after it was discovered that he was receiving racist and inappropriate comments on his social media. While the network — and the Housewives — seemed to think it was the viewers’ responsibility, evidence is now adding up that someone on the RHOBH cast may have sent bots after the Beauvais family. Following the mysterious bot drama, sources told Page Six that Diana had to hire security due to receiving death threats, even though Jax, a minor, was the one actually receiving threats and horrible comments for no reason. Lisa Rinna, for her part, seems to think Lisa Vanderpump is behind the drama despite not appearing on the show for three seasons.

With the reunion set to film in the coming weeks, Diana’s participation now seems less-likely due to the cease and desist letters so it will be interesting to see if she shows up to face the music.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Wednesdays on Bravo.
