Bravo’s Real Housewives of Potomac impressed in the reality TV ratings on Sunday night, with the RHOP Season 7 premiere earning strong numbers.

According to just-released stats, Episode 1 earned a 0.24 in the P18-49 demo and 792,000 live viewers. For comparison’s sake, this is down slightly when compared to the Season 6 premiere which scored a 0.32 and 1,038,000 live viewers back in July 2021.

Married To Medicine followed up the RHOP Season 7 premiere and earned a strong 0.19 in the demo and 737,000 live viewers, up from the week before (0.15 / 586,000) and the largest audience since September 18 (0.22 / 745,000). Clearly, Potomac had a positive impact on Married To Medicine.

Despite RHOP starting off a little lower than expected, the show is expected to be huge once DVR and delayed viewings are taken into account and many Housewives shows have started off slowly this year before growing as the season progresses.

For example, The Real Housewives of Atlanta earned a 0.30 and 933,000 live viewers when it debuted in May 2022 before growing to a season high with the last episode of the reunion on September 25 (0.34 / 1,131,000). The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills started out similarly, with two of the first three episodes earning under 1 million live viewers before growing to a season high with Episode 17 (0.39 / 1,222,000).

After spending the first few seasons on the bubble and under the radar, RHOP is now one of the network’s top Housewives shows and if these numbers are any indication, Season 7 will not disappoint in the live ratings.
