Bravo’s RHONJ Season 12 finale surged to a season high in the ratings while beating the previous year, according to just-released numbers.
Episode 13 of Season 12 increased to a strong 0.37 in the P18-49 demo and 1,165,000 viewers, according to Nielsen, the largest audience of the season, besting even the Season 12 premiere back in February (0.35/1,099,000).
The ratings success comes as RHONJ had been steadily increasing, hitting a 0.31 and 1,108,000 viewers back on April 5. In total, five episodes of RHONJ Season 12 have ended up with over 1 million live viewers, with the sure-to-be dramatic reunion still set to air in the coming weeks.
The RHONJ Season 12 finale also beat Season 11 in the ratings, which earned a 0.31 in the P18-49 demo and 1,006,000 viewers when it aired back in May 2021, proving that something really is working when it comes to this cast.
Much of this season saw Margaret Josephs go after Teresa Giudice and her new beau, Luis Ruelas, and that was continued in the RHONJ Season 12 finale, with Teresa and Margaret facing off over allegations about Luis. While fans are somewhat split on which side to take, Bravo executives will definitely be happy with these numbers, meaning we may not see any huge cast changes for Season 13.
Some have questioned whether Teresa—who also appeared on Peacock’s The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip—may be leaving the show due to the drama, but it is more than likely she will return with this season being viewed as successful in part to her involvement in the story.
Season 12 of RHONJ also stars Melissa Gorga, Dolores Catania, Jackie Goldschneider, Jennifer Aydin, and new Friend of the Housewives Traci Johnson.
Part 1 of the The Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion airs next week on Bravo.
