The RHOA Season 14 premiere pushed Kandi And the Gang to a season high in the ratings while falling behind Season 13’s debut, according to just-released numbers.

The RHOA Season 14 premiere earned a 0.30 in the P18-49 demo and 933,000 live viewers in the ratings, according to Nielsen. While this was enough to score the number 3 spot in the cable ratings behind TLC’s 90 Day Fiance and the MLB, this is far below Season 13’s debut back in December 2020.

The first episode of Season 13 earned a 0.50 in the demo and 1,418,000 viewers, while the Season 13 finale earned a strong 0.44 and 1,385,000 viewers back in April 2021. This is also well behind Season 12’s debut, which earned a massive 0.63 and 1,907,000 viewers back in November 2019.

For Real Housewives fans keeping track, this is also below the recent premiere for The Real Housewives of New Jersey, which has generated over 1 million live viewers quite a few times during Season 12.

Having RHOA as a lead-in paid off for Kandi And The Gang, boosting Kandi Burruss’ spinoff to a season high 0.18 in the demo and 642,000 viewers. It’s the series’ largest viewership of the season and the highest-rated episode since the March 20th episode (0.18/623,000).

While Bravo was surely expecting over 1 million viewers for the RHOA Season 14 premiere, this season is being viewed as a reboot with both Porsha Williams and Cynthia Bailey exiting the series last year and is sure to grow as the season progresses and the drama intensifies. By all accounts, fans seemed to love Sunday’s premiere.

RHOA Season 14 stars Kenya Moore, Sheree Whitfield, Drew Sidora, Sanya Richards-Ross, Marlo Hampton, and Kandi Burruss and airs Sundays on Bravo.
