Ratings: ‘Married To Medicine’ Season 9 Premieres Up Over Last Year

While the show actually saw a drop in overall live viewers, the demo saw a slight increase.

Bravo’s Married To Medicine Season 9 premiere is a hit in the ratings, up over Season 8 in the demo while experiencing an slight dip in viewers.

Episode 1 of Season 9 earned a strong 0.21 in the P18-49 demo and 699,000 viewers, according to Nielsen, up over the Season 8 premiere which scored a 0.19 and 729,000 viewers back in March 2021. While Sunday’s episode (July 10) saw a drop in overall live viewers year-to-year, the demo is what is most important to advertisers, hence why Season 9 actually beats Season 8 in the rankings.

For comparison, Married2Med Season 7 generated a 0.34 and 983,000 viewers when it premiered back in September 2019.

Season 9 of Married2Med stars Quad Webb, Dr. Heavenly Kimes, Dr. Simone Whitmore, Toya Bush-Harris, Dr. Contessa Metcalfe, Dr. Jackie Walters, and Anila Sajja, with Audra Frimpong Curry being introduced as a new friend of the women, and airs Sundays on Bravo following The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

RHOA saw an increase in the ratings this week, with Episode 9 earning a strong 0.30 in the demo and 942,000 viewers, the largest audience since June 12.

Married To Medicine and The Real Housewives of Atlanta air back-to-back on Bravo every Sunday night starting at 8pm ET/PT.
