Kandi Burruss’ latest RHOA spinoff, SWV & Xscape: The Queens Of R&B, was pretty much even in the ratings with the now-cancelled Kandi & The Gang, according to just-released numbers.
Episode 1 of Bravo’s latest new series scored a 0.17 in the P18-49 demo and 490,000 live viewers, according to Showbuzz Daily. The series premiered at 9:30pm ET behind Part 3 of The Real Housewives of Potomac reunion.

SWV & Xscape: The Queens Of R&B, which features Kandi Burruss, LaTocha Scott, Tameka “Tiny” Harris, and Tamika Scott going on a small reunion tour with SWV, was pretty much even with Kandi & The Gang, which earned a 0.12 share and 491,000 live viewers when it premiered back in March 2022.
According to a report from TMZ, Kandi, Tiny, and Tamika are set to go on a small mini-tour without LaTocha under the Xscape name and ffter filming on the new Bravo show wrapped, the group wanted to do a tour to celebrate the Xscape reunion. However, LaTocha is allegedly looking to take a “step back” from the other girls and will not be involved in the tour.
As previously reported, Bravo decided to cancel Kandi & The Gang and the series will not be returning for Season 2. It focused on Kandi’s family and the staff of her Atlanta-based restaurant chain OLG (Old Lady Gang).
“Unfortunately, it is not returning,” Kandi herself confirmed weeks ago. “Bravo is not bringing it back. It’s so sad and I’m super upset about it… I’m going to move on now, because I don’t even want to get sad right now.”
While Kandi did not reveal a reason for Bravo deciding to cancel Kandi And The Gang after just one season, it could be argued that the RHOA spinoff suffered from lacklustre ratings right from the beginning.
