Bravo has cancelled Kandi And The Gang after just one season, according to Kandi Burruss herself.
Kandi hosts her own Amazon Live shopping show and on yesterday’s appearance (Thursday, November 17), she made the somewhat shocking revelation when asked by fans when to expect Kandi And The Gang Season 2.
“Unfortunately, it is not returning,” she said of The Real Housewives of Atlanta spinoff. “Bravo is not bringing it back. It’s so sad and I’m super upset about it… I’m going to move on now, because I don’t even want to get sad right now.”

Lacklustre ratings
While Kandi did not reveal a reason for Bravo deciding to cancel Kandi And The Gang after just one season, it could be argued that the RHOA spinoff suffered from lacklustre ratings right from the beginning.
The series premiere earned a 0.12 in the P18-49 demo, with just 491,000 viewers tuning in to watch Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker rehabilitate their OLG (Old Lady Gang) restaurant back in March 2022. For comparison’s sake, this was much lower than Porsha Williams spinoff Porsha’s Family Matters, which earned a 0.22 in the demo and 869,000 viewers when it premiered back in November 2021.
It was also lower than the debuts of Kandi’s other Bravo spinoffs including The Kandi Factory (0.30/671,000), Kandi’s Wedding (1.0/2,442,000), and Kandi’s Ski Trip (0.60/1,457,000), although it should be pointed out that many of them had The Real Housewives of Atlanta as a lead-in, whereas Kandi And The Gang came following a low-rated Real Housewives of Salt Lake City reunion.
While the series did end up seeing some increases in the live ratings over Season 1 and the network does take into account delayed and DVR viewing stats, the numbers were not anything to write home about so it does make sense that Bravo executives could have expected more and therefore, decided against ordering a Season 2.
New RHOA spinoff
While Kandi And The Gang will not be returning for Season 2, Kandi does in fact have another RHOA spinoff on the way.
As previously reported, the longtime reality star filmed a reunion series with her band Xscape over the summer which will see them team up with SWV. If recent reports are to be believed, the show is set to give us the girl band drama we have all been craving.
Season 1 of Bravo’s Kandi And The Gang followed Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss and her husband Todd Tucker as they attempted to rehabilitate the image of their OLG (Old Lady Gang) line of restaurants. In addition to Kandi and Todd, the series also featured restaurant namesakes Mama Joyce Jones, Aunt Nora Wilcox, and Aunt Bertha Jones, as well as the restaurant’s staff: DonJuan Clark, Phillip Frempong, Shawndreca Robinson, Dominique Variety, Torin Mitchell, Brandon Black, Patrick Dallas, Brian Redmond, Melvin Jones, and Rashard Roles.
One thing is for sure: with or without Kandi And The Gang, Kandi Burruss is still worldwide.
