Another day hour, another Real Housewives of Atlanta casting rumour. Porsha Williams Guobadia is reportedly “playing hardball” with Bravo over a potential RHOA return, according to a new report.

Insiders tell Entertainment Tonight that not only has Porsha Williams been asked to return to RHOA for Season 16, but she wants to be the highest-paid Housewife in order to do so.

“Bravo has been trying to get Porsha to come back to The Real Housewives of Atlanta for the possible cast shakeup, but she’s playing hardball,” a source told the gossip outlet. “Bravo offered Porsha a lot of money to return, but she declined.”

The source added, “Porsha is telling friends she wants to be the highest-paid Housewife on any franchise. Porsha could return, but as of now, she and Bravo have not come to an agreement.”

Potential RHOA cast reboot

As previously reported on TVDeets.com, Love B. Scott reported earlier this week (August 29) that Bravo was rebooting RHOA with an all-new cast.

However, sources are now indicating that not everyone is at risk of being fired, with producers allegedly considering Kandi Burruss Tucker, Kenya Moore, and Shereé Whitfield for a potentially revamped RHOA season 16:

This week a report from LoveBScott claimed that production will replace the entire main cast of the series. Insiders close to the Bravo show have confirmed with theJasmineBRAND exclusively that viewers can expect to see new faces next season, however, some of the current Atlanta ladies will be returning as well. Producers will likely keep two to three current housewives & recast the remaining slots with new women. It’s speculated that Kenya Moore, Kandi Burruss, and possibly Shereé Whitfield will be offered contracts for RHOA season 16.

While it is clear Bravo is planning on updating the RHOA cast ahead of Season 16, it is not yet clear who is in and who is out. In addition to Kenya, Kandi, and Shereé, Season 15 starred Marlo Hampton and Drew Sidora, with Courtney Rhodes and Monyetta Shaw appearing as Friends of the Housewives.

Bravo denies RHOA reboot reports

As previously reported on TVDeets.com, Bravo has denied reports of a full RHOA reboot.

“Nothing official has been decided,” a network source told Page Six, blaming the reports on “fan feedback” that has suggested some viewers would like to see a change ahead of Season 16.

While the network is reportedly casting new women (as they always do towards the end of a season), Page Six is also reporting that they haven’t been able to find reboot-worthy cast members.

Part 1 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 15 reunion airs next Sunday, September 3 at 8|7c on Bravo.
