Living legend Paula Abdul has been asked to join The Real Housewives franchise via RHOBH or another city, she revealed in a new interview.
“I’ve been asked many, many times [to do the Housewives]”, she told Page Six at this year’s Homeless Not Toothless Hollywood Gala, where cameras were rolling on Season 13 of Beverly Hills.
When the outlet clarified if it was RHOBH in particular, Abdul explained that she has been asked to join other cities, too. “Yes — and some other [Real Housewives] franchises, too. … I’m not gonna tell you [which],” she said.
Despite being close friends with many of the women on RHOBH including Kyle Richards, the former American Idol judge maintains that she doesn’t have any interest in joining the Bravo show. “As much as I am absolutely the biggest fan and I love watching… It’s a lot of drama,” she explained.
Paula Abdul isn’t the only celebrity on Bravo’s list. As previously reported, Andy Cohen told TV Deets in an EXCLUSIVE Q&A that he would like to see model and television personality Chrissy Teigen join The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
“We’ve had some great Housewives depart and then return to the show just look at Heather Dubrow and Tamra Judge from The Real Housewives of Orange County,” he told TV Deets when asked about who he would like to see join the franchise. “If you asked me to suggest a new housewife entirely, and Kyle Richards said the same thing recently, I would have to say Chrissy Teigen. I just don’t think she’s quite there yet.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is currently in production on Season 13 and will return this fall.
